After 3 years of cooperative initiatives to develop sustainable tourism in fragile territories in 6 Mediterranean regions, the European project SHIFT will meet for the final time in Marseilles, France on September 20th 2011.
Local, national and international stakeholders will be meeting to discuss strategies and perspectives for sustainable tourism in fragile territories.

The SHIFT project will bring its partners together during the 5th Steering Committee, which will be held in Seville (Sapin), to exchange their views on the implementation of the project and some results in each of their regions.
The meeting will focus on the main activities carried out and on coordination for any future actions.

The Official Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Valencia will disseminate the SHIFT project during the celebration of the International Tourism Fair of the Valencian Region (TCV), which will be held next February 25-27 in Valencia.
Promotional material of the project will be available to visitors in the stand of Riberaturisme, which will be placed in the exhibition room of Feria Valencia.

The event will take place on 30 November 2010 at the Renaissance Hotel (Brussels). An evening reception on 29 November will be held to open the exhibition.
